On Mothers Day on Sunday, actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani teamed up with his sister Deepshikha Deshmukh to present a short film "Battery", which celebrates the mother-son relationship.
Directed by Ramchandra Darshana Gaonkar, "Battery" tells the story of a boy, who is laughed at and teased by all as 'Battery', and he is precious to his mother.
"My mother has been a great inspiration to me throughout my life, and I know that mothers everywhere are a driving force in their children's lives. We often don't say it enough, so what better way to say it than through a film," Jackky said in a statement.
Deepshikha, who has produced the film, said: "Words cannot express the gratefulness and love we have for our mothers. For the way they have moulded us. Instead of saying it, we decided to show... This short film is a dedication to all the super moms out there."
