Jay McGuiness from The Wanted band has been honoured with the title Sexiest Male Vegetarian Celebrity by animal rights group PETA2.
PETA2 is People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals' (PETA) US youth division.
The 23-year-old beat actor-musician Jared Leto, 41, and comedian-actor Russell Brand, 38, to win the title, reports dailystar.co.uk.
"We're all very sporty in this family. We all like football, but Jay never took to it. When they were in the garden, they'd all be playing football, but he'd be talking to the daisies and the ladybirds. He loved animals," McGuiness' mother recalled about his childhood days.
