List of European teams qualified for World Cup playoffs

The following is a list of European zone teams already qualified for the 2014 World Cup finals after the final group matches:

Belgium, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Russia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, England.

List of eight best runners-up, who would take part in a two-legged playoffs:

Portugal, Croatia, Greece, Ukraine, Sweden, Romania, Iceland, France.

Denmark, who finished second in Group B behind Italy, were eliminated because of their worst record among group runners-up.

The play-offs will be held Nov 15 and 19 and the four seeds be decided by latest FIFA rankings released Thursday.
