Nine killed in Germany traffic accident

At least 9 people were killed and 40 injured Saturday in a highway collision in Germany.

The accident occurred on a highway near Dresden, a city near the border with the Czech Republic, Xinhua reported.

A bus slammed into a van after it broke through the central barrier and drove into the opposite lane.

The victims comprise seven passengers in the van and two in the bus.
