Rahul in Bengaluru on Monday, to attend state unit meet

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will visit Bengaluru on Monday where he will attend a General Body Meeting of the state unit, the party said on Saturday.

During the visit, he will also release National Herald's commemorative publication "India at a Crossroads: 70 years of Independence".

Karnataka will go to polls next year.

The Congress had earlier announced it will contest the upcoming assembly elections in Karnataka under the leadership of Chief Minister K. Siddaramaiah.
