Seven soldiers killed in Pakistan militant attack

At least seven soldiers were killed by unidentified militants in Pakistan's Balochistan province Sunday.

Some militants opened fire at a check post manned by the security forces in Khuzdar district, Xinhua reported.

The militants targetted the check post, located in Wadh area, a main district in the province, Dawn reported. The attackers, however, fled after the soldiers retaliated.

No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
