Three killed in Mali UN base attack

At least three people were killed and over 20 injured on Saturday during an attack on a UN base in Mali, the media said.

Unidentified gunmen attacked the UN peacekeeping base in the northern town of Kidal, Xinhua news agency reported.

According to the spokesman for the UN force in Mali (MINUSMA) Olivier Salgado, the injured were evacuated but some of them were in critical condition.
