Two- and three-wheeler maker TVS Motor Company Monday said it closed last month selling 2,285 units more than what it sold in January 2014.
In a statement, the company said last month it sold 188,598 units (two-wheelers 181,516 units, three-wheelers 7,082 units) up from 186,313 units (two-wheelers 179,576 units, three-wheelers 6,737 units) sold in January 2014.
The company witnessed planned production cuts due to annual maintenance and Pongal holidays in its major plants during last month.
