Forever CM-in-waiting

On Wednesday, Karnataka got a new chief minister after a secret ballot within the party. Sadanand Gowda was elected CM after defeating Jagadish Shettar. Last night, Shettar’s camp jumped the gun and sent emails to reporters to ensure they had his profile ready when he would be elected. But, the effort seems to have gone waste. And journalists are now having to scramble to get Gowda’s profile.
