India, more specifically corporate India, is slowly being made to march to the drumbeat of the Paris Agreement — it just does not know this. The most recent pointer was at the virtual climate summit, where the prime minister reaffirmed India’s commitment to achieving the goal of keeping global warming well below 2˚C. In fact, he indicated that India will exceed its commitments.
