Kejriwal, BJP spar over odd-even

With the second phase of the odd-even rule for passenger vehicles kicking off in Delhi last Friday, Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal has a lot at stake, given that the party had declared the first phase a success. But it seems the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) - with only three members in the state Assembly - wants to undermine the whole experiment. BJP leader Vijay Goel has said that he will deliberately violate the rule from Monday and do everything to make it a failure. Auto and taxi unions affiliated to the BJP have also threatened to go on strike. Kejriwal's riposte: "The BJP wants the odd-even rule to fail, but Delhi will fail the BJP."
