Urban schemes face surprise tests

After complaints about implementation of various schemes, the rural development ministry has decided to conduct surprise visits to many parts of the country. Minister of State for Rural Development Shishir Adhikary suggested the idea, which was readily accepted by his senior, CP Joshi. According to the plan, the ministers will visit different places without prior notice to the local administration and see how the work is going.
