Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah on Monday congratulated party workers for the party crossing the 80-million mark in the ongoing membership drive. Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the drive on November 1, 2014.
The drive is to continue until March 31, with the aim of making the BJP the largest party on the planet in terms of membership, surpassing the Communist Party of China.
