A day after a new government was sworn in Arunachal Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today extended best wishes to it and expressed hope that the new dispensation would fulfill the aspirations of the people.
"My best wishes to the new Government of Arunachal Pradesh in fulfilling the expectations & aspirations of the people," Modi said in a series of tweets.
Dissident Congress leader Kalikho Pul was sworn in late last night as Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh after more than two months of political crisis, shortly after the Supreme Court paved the way for government formation and President's rule was lifted from the state.

He also greeted the people of Arunachal Pradesh on its statehood day, saying "I pray for the state's overall development in the coming years."
Modi extended his "best wishes to the wonderful people of Mizoram on their Statehood Day. May Mizoram scale new heights of progress in the years to come.
