1 soldier, 14 militants killed on Pak border post

One soldier and 14 militants were killed today when the Taliban insurgents launched a major attack from Afghanistan side at Pakistan border post in restive northwestern tribal area, security sources said.

Military officials said that large number of terrorists attacked Nao Top post in Bajaur tribal areas early today.

A security officer said, "14 terrorists were killed so far and one soldier embraced martyrdom while two others were critically injured."

The injured are being evacuated. Helicopter gunships have been sent as reinforcement.
