15 Bangladeshi migrants arrested for illegal entry in India

Thane police has arrested 15 Bangladeshi nationals who did not have a valid visa.

Senior inspector Shakeel Shaikh said these illegal migrants were staying in Bhiwandi in the district and hailed from Chittagong in Bangladesh.

Kongaon police has registered offence under the Foreign Nationals Act and the Indian Passport Act.

All the accused were produced before the local magistrate today who remanded them in police custody for a day. Further probe is on.
