A 16-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and murdered in Bharatpur district of Rajasthan, with police suspecting that she was also raped.
"The girl had gone for tuition on Thursday evening when she was abducted. Her parents were informed about the incident over phone and after tracing the cellphone number, four persons were detained that very night," Assistant Superintendent of Police, Bharatpur Dharmendra Singh said.
"The girl's body was found last morning near the railway tracks," he said, adding it is suspected that she was raped before murder.

Post-mortem has been conducted and the four suspects who were detained are being interrogated, the police officer said.
In Jaipur, state Congress chief Sachin Pilot condemned the incident and alleged that the law and order situation in Rajasthan has deteriorated.
"Crime against women is on the rise. Women are unsafe in the rule of a woman Chief Minister which is the biggest failure of BJP," he said.
