Two foreign tourists are among three persons who suffered dog bites in the last few days prompting the civic body here to launch a campaign against stray animals on the streets of the city, an official said.
A tourist from Chile suffered a dog bite yesterday in Menpura village, while a British tourist and her travel agent were bitten by dogs on Tuesday, a Nagar Parishad official said.
The tourists were given primary treatment at the local hospital, he said.
We are shifting stray dogs to other places. Also, NGOs have also been called for effectively running animal birth control programme, Nagar parishad official Jabar Singh said.
