2 sisters die under mysterious circumstances

Rubi (17) and her younger sister Pooja (14), daughters of Baldev Raj of Dholbaha Road, Hariana town died under mysterious circumstances last evening.

Rubi, a student of class XI, complained vomiting and loose motions following which she was admitted in a private hospital. As her condition was critical, she was referred to Civil Hospital, Hoshiarpur.

Meanwhile, her younger sister, who was studying in class IX, started having same symptoms and was also admitted in PHC Hariana and thereafter referred to Civil Hospital, Hoshiarpur.

Dr Sardool Singh, SMO of the Civil Hospital, today said that it was suspected that both the girls died of suspected poisoning.
