2 sisters killed in Telangana highway mishap

: In a hit and run case, two women pedestrians were killed when a speeding vehicle hit them at on a highway near Kothagattu village in the district early Sunday, police said.

The two sisters, aged 40 and 35, were walking along the highway when a truck rammed into them, killing them on the spot, Huzurabad Assistant Police Commissioner T Krupakar said.

Efforts were on to identify the vehicle through CCTV camera footages, he added.
