Railway police today seized 25 kg of ganja from Gauhati-New Delhi Rajdhani Express here in Bihar's Katihar district.
Acting on a tip off, a Railway Police Force (RPF) team raided the AC-2 coach and recovered 25 kg ganja in 16 packets valued at about Rs one lakh, Inspector of RPF Ujjwal Chaudhary said.
One person identified as Sohail Akhtar was arrested with the contraband, he said.
The RPF Inspector said that on questioning, Akhtar said that besides the booked ticket he was given Rs 2,000 to carry the ganja to Katihar.
