28 acres of forest land cleared of encroachment in Kishtwar

The forest department has cleared over 28 acres of land of encroachment in the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Encroachment on nearly 28.25 acres of forest land in the Kishtwar and Marwah forest divisions in the district was removed yesterday, an official said.
Forest officials also removed illegal structures built by 40 people on state land, he said.
Following the anti-encroachment drive launched in April this year, more than 123 acres of forest land has been retrieved, he said.
