Three labourers were killed following a gas leakage at a cardboard manufacturing factory here today, police said. Another two workers are said to be critical.
According to superintendent of police Harish Kumar, the three labourers died after inhaling toxic gas when repairing the nozzle of a gas tank.
"The deceased were identifed as Ashish (24), Bhajanlal (40) and Harun. Two labourers whose condition is critical have been admitted to the district hospital. The accident took place today at around 12.30 pm," he said.
