3 SPOs among 5 arrested for running sex racket

A girl, who was rescued from a house in the area where the racket was being run, told police that she was forced into sex racket allegedly by the SPOs -- Mohmmad Sharief, Rakesh Kumar, Mohmad Saleem -- on the pretext of providing her a job, SP Rajouri Mubassir Latifee told reporters today.

Following the complaint, police constituted a special team and arrested the three SPO, a Selection Grade Constable (SGC) Mohmmad Haneef, whose house was allegedly used for the flesh trade, and Sharief's wife.

While the SPOs have been dismissed from services, action would be taken against SGC Haneef, he said.
