Four persons were arrested and a large number of stolen goods were recovered from them in Chhalera bus stand area here, police said today.
Nadim Akhtar, Kasif, Sandip and Gulam Ali were arrested during a checking drive of vehicles from near Chhalera bus stand here last night, Sector 39 police station SHO Dharminder Chauhan said.
A large number of stolen goods, including 11 mobile phones, 11 watches, two laptops, one camera and utensils were recovered from them, Chauhan said.
Meanwhile, police also arrested one liquor smuggler Ajay and seized 24 bottles of illegal liquor from him in Sector 20 area, they said.
