4 quintal poppy husk seized, three arrested

Police today claimed to have arrested three persons and recovered four quintal poppy husk and one kg opium from their possession.

The accused were arrested after their car was checked at Denowal village, police said., adding that poppy husk and opium were recovered from their possession.

A case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act was registered against all the accused, they said.
