64 affected by diarrhoea in Howrah district

Atleast 64 persons have been affected by diarrhoea in West Bengal's Howrah district.

The affected people belonged to Hizloke village of Bagnan and the reason was consumption of contaminated water last night.

Bagnan hospital block medical officer of health, Dr Indranil Mitra said the affected have been admitted in the hospital.

Medical teams are visiting the area to prevent spreading of the disease, he said.
