7 tourists from Kerala injured in TN road accident

: Fourteen people including seven tourists from Kerala were seriously injured Monday when two vans collided near Dhanushkodi, police said.

The tourists were part of a 100-member group from Kerala and were on their way to Dhanushkodi in six vans when the accident occurred, police added.

One of the vans in which the tourists were travelling and a van transporting locals collided resulting in injuries to 14 people, police said.

They said the injured were being treated in a hospital in Ramanathapuram.
