With the withdrawal of five nomination papers on the last date of withdrawal today, 74 candidates are left in the fray for the third and final phase of Lok Sabha polls in Assam where polling would be held for six constituencies on April 24.
Election office sources said there are 18 contestants in Guwahati, eight in Nagaon, 12 in Mongaldoi, 15 in Barpeta, six in Kokrajhar and 15 in Dhubri constituency.
