90 kg ganja seized, 2 held

The police today seized 90 kg of contraband ganja and arrested two persons carrying it in Kandra area of Saraikela-Kharswan district.

Superintendent of Police Rakesh Bansal said that the ganja, valued at around Rs 4 lakh, was being transported from Koraput of Odisha to the industrial township of Adityapur.

Two persons were arrested and the four-wheeler carrying the narcotic was confiscated, he said.
