AAP students' wing to protest against attack on Naga youths

Condeming the attack on North East students in Gurgaon, Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti, students' wing of Aam Aadmi Party, said they will hold a public meeting at JNU tomorrow.

AAP chief spokesperson Yogendra Yadav met the injured youth at the hospital and locals of Sikandapur and appealed for peace.

"AAP opposes the shameful attempts to divide the society along petty lines and strongly condemns all sorts of violence. It demands that the union home ministry should make a categorical statement on why incidents of violence against the people of North East are taking place from Bangalore to Gurgaon," the party said in a statement.
 

AAP leaders Anand Kumar and Kamal M Chenoy, will address the public meeting of CYSS at the Jawaharlal Nehru University campus, the party said.

Three youths from Nagaland were thrashed and injured allegedly by eight persons in Gurgaon on Wednesday night for refusing to have drinks with the attackers.
