The Adivasi Chatra Ekta, (ACE), an organization of tribal students and youth, today threatened to launch an intense movement if Jharkhand Government failed to constitute a judicious domicile policy by November 15.
Addressing a "Hul Jharkhand Rally" in Bistupur, Jasai Mardi, President of the Adivasi Chatra Ekta, said the rally was organized to mount pressure on the state government to look into the demands including formation of a domicile policy, Recruitment policy and Adivasi Development policy by Novemer 15, the foundation day of the state.
Otherwise ACE would be compelled to launch a non-cooperation movement against the prevailing system across the state.

Chattisgarh and Uttarakhand, which were simultaneously carved out of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh to become separate states along with Jharkhand, had moved on the road of development but the mineral-rich Jharkhand continued to lag far behind in all aspects, Mardi said.
Opposing the Land Acquisition Bill, Mardi said though the mineral-abundant Jharkhand remained on the bottom on account of development in the country, it topped the chart as far as tribal land acquisition was concerned.
