Advocates in the Madras High Court today boycotted the proceedings as per the call given by their associations protesting againt the "inaction" by CBI in identifying the police personnel who had attacked them in the High Court campus in 2009.
The Madras High Court Advocates Association and other associations had earlier called the boycott of today's proceedings in the alleged inaction by CBI in identifying the police personnel who had attacked them in the High Court campus during a clash on February 19, 2009.
They condemned CBI for not identifying the police personnel and arraigning them as accused in connection with "the assault on judiciary" in 2009.
