The Air Officer Commanding in Chief (AOC-in-C) of the Western Command, Air Marshal S B Deo called on the General officer in Commanding in Chief (GOC-in-C) of the Northern Command, Lt Gen D S Hooda in Udhampur today and discussed various security related issues in Jammu and Kashmir.
"On his maiden visit after taking over the AOC-in-C of the Western Command, Air Marshal Deo discussed various security related issues with the army commander Lt Gen Hooda in Udhampur today," an army officer said.
He said that the state of Jammu and Kashmir comes under the area of operation of the Western Command of the Air force.
"Accompanied by his wife, the AOC-in C later left for Leh, where he will be staying for the night," he said.
