Arms supplier held with weapons

An arms supplier to the Maoists was arrested with weapons from Ghormana village in Banka district, a police officer said today.

Acting on a tip off, police raided a hideout in the village and arrested Shamim Mian with four pistols and three cartridges last night, Superintendent of Police Satyaprakash said.

Mian had been allegedly supplying arms to the Maoists regularly in Munger and Banka districts, he said.
