Base metals end mixed

The industrial metals rebounded at the LME on better than expected German and French economic growth data in the second quarter.

Nickel spurted by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,055 per kg from Monday's closing level of Rs 1050 per kg.

Copper scrap heavy, Brass utensils scrap, Brass sheets cutting and Zinc all inched up by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 471, Rs 315, Rs 324 and Rs 135, respectively.

However, Copper sheets cutting dropped by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 456 from Rs 460 and Copper armiture eased by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 462 from Rs 464 previously.

 

Copper cable scrap, Copper utensils scrap and Copper wire bar all softened by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 478, Rs 437 and Rs 506.
