Bike-borne criminals snatch Rs 3 lakh cash from businessman

Two motorcycle-borne criminals snatched a bag containing Rs 3 lakh in cash from a businessman near Laxmimandir cinema here, police said today.

The businessman, Narendra Kumar Pareekhad, had withdrawn the cash from a Central Bank of India branch and was walking towards a relative's house when the accused snatched the bag and fled on a motorcycle.

Narendra immediately took lift from a vehicle and chased them but failed to catch, the police said, adding that efforts were on to identify and locate the snatchers.
