BJP surges ahead in Himachal
The BJP is leading in 28 seats while the Congress is ahead in 19 seats in Himachal Pradesh, according to early Election Commission trends.
The CPI(M) is ahead in one seat after nearly two hours of counting. Trends are available for 43 seats.
Main rivals BJP and Congress have contested all 68 seats.
