Bodies of teenage brothers washed away in flash floods found

The bodies of two teenage brothers, who were washed away in flash floods in the Tawi river here have been recovered, an official said today.

"The body of Surya Partap was recovered from the left bank of the Tawi river six km from the International Border near Kaliyal belt of Nikki Tawi here," a BSF officer said.

The body of his younger brother Adarsh was recovered from river yesterday evening, he said, adding they are the sons of BSF Head Constable Parbhu Nath Rai.

The brothers and one of their friend were celebrating the birthday of their friend at Hari ki Pouri on Wednesday here when they were washed away due to sudden floods owing to rains in catchment area, Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Simrandeep Singh had said.
 

The other boy was earlier rescued.
