Body of a 30-year-old man was fished out from a stream in the famous hill resort of Pahalgam in south Kashmir today, police said.
The body, which bore a tattoo on the right arm with an inscription Ravi Jagga, was recovered from Liddar stream in Pahalgam, 100 kms from here, a police spokesman said.
He said the post mortem of the deceased was conducted and after completion of all legal formalities the body has been kept in the mortuary for identification.
Police has started investigation to ascertain the cause of the death, the spokesman said.
