Body of woman found in Patna district

The body of a 22-year-old married woman, missing for the past four days, was found on the outskirts of Lakshmi Tola village in Patna district today.

The deceased Shanti Devi's father had lodged an FIR with the police on July 14, saying his daughter was missing from the house of her in-laws at Dorma village, police said.

He had alleged in the FIR that his daughter, who got married last year, had been killed for dowry, police said.

The highly decomposed body has been sent for post-mortem.
