The Budget Session of Rajasthan Assembly came to an end today with two bills being passed on the last day.

The House was adjourned sine die after it passed Rajasthan Schools (Regulation of Fee) Bill and the Rajasthan Land Pooling Schemes Bill by voice vote.

The Rajasthan Schools (Regulation of Fee) bill, presented by Education Minister Vasudev Devnani, aims at regulating collection of fees by schools in the state.

While replying to the debate on the bill, he said the legislation has been brought because the government wants privatisation of schools but not commercialization.

He said the Act will cover schools affiliated with both Rajasthan Board and CBSE and will regulate fees.

The second bill, Rajasthan Land Pooling Schemes Bill, is for the implementation of Urban Development schemes and projects through land pooling system and connected matters.
