Actress Sharon Gless will guest star in "Casualty" when the series returns later this year.
Gless, 74, will join the cast of the medical drama for an episode in the upcoming series as Zsa Zsa Harper-Jenkinson, described as a "maestro of surgery", reported Digital Spy.
"I'm a rabid Anglophile. Some of our finest American TV is British. Zsa Zsa is a wonderful character and I hope you all enjoy her too," said Gless.
The actress has recently finished filming the most recent TV adaptation of "The Exorcist".
She is best known for her role as Christine Cagney in "Cagney & Lacey".
