Drug firm Cadila Healthcare has received overwhelming approval from stakeholders for scheme of arrangement between the company and Zydus Healthcare Ltd.
Almost 100 per cent shareholders have approved "the scheme of arrangement between Cadila Healthcare Ltd and Zydus Healthcare Ltd and their respective shareholders and creditors," Cadila Healthcare said in a BSE filing today.
The voting results were the outcome of a National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) convened meeting of the shareholders of the company held on March 30, 2017, it added.
Pharma firm Cadila Healthcare is a listed entity of the Zydus Group.
