Cardamom fell 0.29 per cent to Rs 769.50 per kg in futures trade today as speculators booked profits at prevailing levels amid subdued demand at the spot market.
Further, ample stocks in the physical market following increased arrivals from major producing belts too weighed on cardamom prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in September declined by Rs 2.30, or 0.29 per cent, to Rs 769.50 per kg in a business turnover of 15 lots.
