Chandy hurt as LDF workers pelt stones

Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy was hurt mildly on his forehead in stone throwing by LDF workers protesting against the solar panel scam here today.

According to police, the glass panel of the car in which Chandy was coming to the police grounds here was shattered in the stone pelting and some shards hit his forehead on two spots slightly above his right eye.

Chandy, however, did not cancel his engagements and attended the valedictory function of the Kerala police athletic meet.
