About 90 CISF personnel, tasked with the security of Delhi Metro, today donated blood to mark the World Blood Donor Day.
Officials said a camp was organised by the force at its Delhi Metro Rail Corporation's security unit at Shastri Park here were 90 jawans led by Deputy Inspector General Raghubir Lal and Senior Commandants Prabodh Chandra and Amit Mathur participated.
The blood units have been handed over to GTB Hospital, a senior official said.
Over 4,500 Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel are deployed to secure about 150 stations of the Delhi Metro in the national capital region.
