The Congress rally, which marked the conclusion of KPCC President V M Sudheeran's "Janapaksha Yatra" here today turned out to be a platform for leaders to greet AICC President Sonia Gandhi on her birthday.
Wishing long life and sound health for the party president, senior leader A K Antony reaffirmed entire party's faith and loyalty to Gandhi's leadership.
"I take this opportunity on behalf of entire Congress in Kerala to wish our party president Sonia Gandhi a happy birthday, Antony said.
He said the best thing Congress leaders and workers could do in the state was to stand firmly behind the leadership of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi who could bring back the party back to power.
AICC General Secretary Mukul Wasnik and other leaders also greeted Sonia on the occasion.
