Surender, who was posted as a security guard barely a month ago at the facility, shot himself with SLR he was carrying at around 1:30 PM.
He was rushed to Lady Hardinge hospital where he was declared brought dead. His family in Rohtak has been informed.
He had returned from home on April 30 and his colleagues said he was under depression.
Surender joined Haryana Police in 2008.
He is survived by his wife and a son. PTI SJY RT
