DDA considers several land usage changes in Delhi

DDA today deliberated upon changing the land use for several plots in the national capital, including the 2.76 acres of residential land opposite CGO Complex to a central ministry office.

The Delhi Development Authority, in its meeting today, considered changing the land usage for construction of 'Akshya Urja Bhawan' for the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, and approved the proposal for inviting objections and suggestions.

Change of land usage in the Master Plan of Delhi (MPD 2021) in two sectors of Dwarka was approved by the Authority from 'District Park/Green' to 'Utility' for solid waste management facilities, the DDA said in a statement.
 

The proposal for modifications in the Master Plan/Zonal Development Plan for an area in Dwarka was also considered for modification of the demarcation plan for sub-division of a hospital plot of six hectares into two plots -- one for 400 KV GIS sub-station measuring area approximately four hectares and other for a hospital measuring nearly two hectares.

Change of use of land in Parda Bagh (Walled City) from Recreational (park/open space) to residential, commercial and public and semi-public was also discussed.

A land measuring 1.14 hectares also came up during the the meeting, for changing its usage from 'Recreational' use (district park) to 'Utility' (electricity, sub-station) in Janakpur, adjacent to Institutional area in Pankha Road for Delhi Transco Ltd. For setting up 220 KV grid station.

Transportation and related modifications to other chapters as per review of the MPD 2021 has been notified by the Ministry of Urban Development, the urban body also said.
